Care delivery platform earns prestigious industry recognition
Philadelphia, PA (May 13, 2019) – TrekIT Health, a digital health company specializing in technology-driven care collaboration, has been named a finalist for the 2019 SIIA CODiE Awards as a ‘Best Healthcare Technology Solution’. Finalists represent the best products, technologies, and services in software, information and business intelligence, ranging from startups to major multinational companies.
TrekIT Health’s clinician-first platform reduces administrative paperwork, while allowing better patient outcomes with enhanced data, dynamic care planning, and real-time hand-off functionality.
The SIIA CODiE Awards are the premier awards for the software and information industries and have been recognizing product excellence for over 30 years. The awards offer 76 categories that are organized by industry focus of education technology and business technology. TrekIT Health was honored as one of 137 finalists across the 44 business technology categories.
“The 2019 CODiE Award finalists are some of the most innovative, high-impact products in the market. We are thrilled to place a spotlight on these innovations and the power they have to transform the future of how we do business.” said Jeff Joseph, President of SIIA.
The SIIA CODiE Awards are the industry's only peer-recognized awards program. Business technology leaders including senior executives, analysts, media, consultants and investors evaluate assigned products during the first-round review which determines the finalists. SIIA members then vote on the finalist products and the scores from both rounds are tabulated to select the winners. Winners will be announced during the Business Technology & Company CODiE Award Winner Announcement Party immediately following TechConText, June 12 in San Francisco.
“Although accolades will always take a backseat to our critical mission of serving clinicians and the patients who need them, we recognize the significance of the CODiE Awards and what it means for this stage of our business,” said Subha Airan-Javia, MD, co-founder and chief medical officer of TrekIT Health. “This is an important milestone for us as we begin to scale the company and increase awareness of the problem we’re ultimately trying to solve – better delivery of healthcare.”

About TrekIT Health
TrekIT was formed to create a commercial software platform for both large institutional health systems and individual clinicians looking for a better way to manage their workflow based on the Carelign technology platform developed by Subha Airan-Javia and colleagues at Penn Medicine. Product design was born out of a necessity to improve clinician experience, present data in a way that reduces cognitive overload, and to improve the handoff process, while simultaneously reducing medical errors and making the EHR more user friendly. Developed under Penn Medicine as Carelign, TrekIT was formed to bring this clinician focused platform to the wider market and is currently deployed at leading health systems like Corzer-Keystone and Penn Medicine. Focused on creating technology that makes clinicians more efficient and happy, TrekIT Health is currently raising its seed round of funding to scale the business model.
